We love Saritas. Our family 3 generations, has eaten here weekly for 25 + years. Just wanted to let you know that we love the design of the new menu, easy to read. Our guest this week enjoyed it also. Erickson is like family to us.

The food took to long and they kept coming back to our table telling us they don't have the things we wanted😤.

Sarita's is always good, been going there since I was a kid. Friendly waiters, most of them been there for 15 or more years. Salsa is great, nachos are my dish there! plenty of other options- solid, family-run Mexican!

This is one of our staples when it comes to Mexican food restaurants close to our house. The service is always great and so is the food. I have had fajitas, enchiladas, chili relleno and many other items and they have all been super tasty.

I've been to Sarita's Mexican off & on over the years. Consistently good food. Had the $6.95 lunch special yesterday with 2 cheese enchiladas, rice & beans, plus added a crispy beef taco for $1 more. Even had room for cake for dessert!

My Wife and I really enjoy this place. I wont say it's anything special, just another Tex-Mex restaurant from which there are many in San Antonio. But, the food is what you would expect and the prices are cheap, about $10 for most plates here. Staff is nice and food comes out quick. My only minor complaint is needing to add salt to most of the food, even though the food is seasoned fine it usually needs a little more salt, probably catering to the older crowd which is fine IMO.

Great fajitas. Melt in your mouth tortillas. Tasty dishes abound!

Very nice. Restaurant is "cozy." Feels more like dinner at a friend's than "eating at a restaurant." Wait staff are very courteous and attentive. Professional, but very friendly. Food is great! Traditional home style Mexican food. Portions are reasonably generous. Taste is great.

We had a nice experience with Saritas restaurant, the food is nothing out if this world but our server Axel was great he was friendly and very accommodating with our request.

First time visiting this place due to my sister saying food was good.I enjoyed the food and prices. Not an upscale place by any means. Modest atmosphere. I had the Carne Asada plate.

The beef soup took almost an hour to be served. When the waitress brought it was cold. The service is super slow and the place is filthy. Don’t go here you will regret it.

I loved everything about it. The service was great. Comfortable atmosphere. The green hot sauce that was served reminded me of my late fathers sauce, homemade hot and good. I'm very judgmental about hot sauce and they got my approval. Lol

Not a great experience. We enjoyed the first visit, which prompted us to come back, however we were disappointed. Tamales and grilled chicken took 30+ minutes with only a couple of tables in the restaurant. The tamales were okay, but we ended up paying 15$ for what turned out to be grilled chicken and maybe a handful of vegetables. We left ultimately unsatisfied with our meals.We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Overall decent food for the price. Steer clear of the queso, strait from a can and not very appetizing. Service is okay.

Great breakfast, never ending coffee, went withy sister who is a regular there. Plus, lunch plates are huge, great prices for lunch too. I love their homemade corn tortillas. Dinner plates are always fantastic. Love their enchiladas, tacos, fajitas are delicious and filling. Their margaritas have real kick, try the Frozen Margarita with sangria floater. They have a separate room for private parties. The staff are excellent! Recommended.

WONT BE GOING BACK! Me and my daughter ate here the other night. The meat was a little questionable. I woke up feeling weird and now we had to pick up daughter from school complaining of upset stomach.

The tortillas are freshly made! The food came out super fast, hot and delicious. Those that brought the extra things were up to par with service and timing. Only reason for not 5 stars is the server must have either been new or really just didn't know service well. I was given the saddest and watered down margarita I've ever seen. So when they took it back, I watched the bartenders from afar and they weren't even the ones who made my drink. They made the server make it. So sadly, it didn't come with salt on the rim like I asked for nor with any garnish, and was told by the server to use the table salt when I asked for salt on my margarita. Now, I don't think was her fault bc she's not a bartender but at least give the guest the courtesy of making sure it's done correctly. There was laziness at hand that could be dealt with better by management if they paid attention or at least fix the issue themselves

I have only had the breakfast tacos and they are good.

Went for breakfast. The chips and salsa are good. Coffee is above average. The eggs and sides were cooked as you would expect. The pancakes that accompanied the dish were not very good. They were cold and had that cooked on a dirty grill taste. The service was good and it felt like being at a family members home. Comfy and casual. Overall a good experience.

Great Service, felt safe they check your temperature, before allowing you to enter. The food is great Service outstanding.

Always a friendly greeting and excellent food. I love the chips and salsa they provide for free, it's so delicious. On this particular visit, there was a guest who had too much to drink and was falling asleep at his table. The management/owner would not allow him to drive and ended up taking him home himself. I was relieved and impressed that they handled that situation correctly. It's because of their consistently great service and product that we make the effort to drive to their location. I've personally been eating at their restaurant for 20yrs.

Excellent food and service.

This restaurant has been my go to for breakfast tacos and the occasional quick lunch. I genuinely enjoy eating here when I partake on a cheat day. The staff is friendly and the food is quick to your table. The margaritas are delicious and the sweet tea is better than Bill Miller's in my opinion. Definitely worth stopping in and giving them a try!

Sarita’s makes a great place for lunch meetings or get-togethers. It always seems to be quiet and relaxing, with little to no wait. The food is great and the service is usually great. There was a time or two where I’ve had slow waiting service on drink refills or food requests but otherwise a very nice place to eat and enjoy good Mexican food.

We love this place! Any time of day. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.. Sarita's never fails to disappoint. Our server, Erickson always goes above and beyond each and every visit and the food is wonderful! Thank you Sarita's! This is our favorite place.

Jalapeno chicken enchiladas were excellent! Staff was courteous, personable and attentive. Wonderful lunchtime experience!

Literally taking a break from my tacos to write this review because these are the best tortillas EVER. I mean absolutely amazing. The best bean and cheese tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly it’s like an angel is making these tortillas. Phenomenal.

Some items are great, some not so much. The chicken and chopped beef is really good. However, the ground beef is not very good. Make sure to figure out which type of beef your dish comes with. Everything else is good if you like Mexican food.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. I always get the cheese enchiladas and they're really tasty. I like that they're not too greasy or oily, since that seems to be a problem with some other restaurants' enchiladas. Pretty good service too. I've been coming here since I was a little kid and it's still as good as I remember.

I thought to swing by since I was hungry and I was around the area. I was soooo disappointed with the loaded queso, it was watery and the amount of ground beef added to the queso is very limited. They charge $8 for this loaded queso and it’s extremely overpriced. Let me tell you about the Caldo de Res... it tasted as if the vegetables were old and added to the broth. A caldo is usually hot when served and this caldo was warm almost cold as of it was heated up in the microwave from the day before. The young waitress was super nice and obviously it is not her fault the food was horrible. The guests sitting next to me, also turned back their Carne guisada because they literally bit in to a cold peace of meat! The majority of the people that visit the restaurant are Anglo baby boomers, I hope they are not being taken advantage of.

Very friendly restaurant. Food is excellent and your coffee cup is always full. Excellent customer service. Plenty of parking.

Their cheese enchiladas were very good. Service was great. Not too impressed with their flour tortillas.

We had the fajitas for 2 and it was very good! Fajitas were tender n juicy. Tortillas were soft warm and tasty. Our server was very cordial!

Really enjoy that friendliness of the staff and the choices for the lunch specials. Food is quickly made to order and consistently prepared. Have been recommending to my coworkers.

Salsa is delicious, very fresh. Queso was amazing. Nachos were just okay. Burgers were very good.

Took 45 minutes to have our food ready...at least the gave us plenty of chips and salsa to eat. Go if you have plenty of time to wait and meditate. The food was good but nothing special. People were nice.

Beautiful rustic decor, ample good portions of very good Mexican food. I had breakfast, and it was wonderfully satisfying. Waitress was kind, helpful and professional.

Our waitress was really working hard and covering the entire restaurant. Meanwhile, two able bodies employees sat in the corner and didn't help her at all. She was fantastic and did the best she could. But, she wouldn't have had to overwork herself if the load was even a tiny bit more well-distributed.
